Infant Massage Instruction
The aim of learning Infant Massage is to promote nurturing touch and bonding between carer and infant. The classes are taken over a five-week period when the carer learns techniques for massaging their child. There will also be discussions on such topics as feeding, sleeping, crying, colic etc. There is a specific technique for helping reduce colic taught on week two.
All carers and their infant will be awarded a participation certificate on the last session as a memory of a special time.
All participants will receive a 50ml bottle of organic massage oil at the first session and nappies, wipes will be provided if required.
